Random thoughts I have over coffee and social media topics
Shedding the victim persona as the last layers of vulnerability. Hmm, there’s a thought.
The letting go of the facade, some external source that keeps us from doing or being whatever we believe or dream of being or even doing.
The tendency to assume the role of victim instead of facing the necessity to be vulnerable which says
“it’s ME holding me back. ”
It’s not about blaming, or name calling
Vulnerability is the act of sitting in that rather uncomfortable seat of truth.
in lieu of making up reasons, labels and excuses to hide in fear
(Insert fear here)
What the hell are we afraid of anyway? It doesn’t matter. It ain’t real, we made it up anyway. And should our fear be real to us, let’s test out the proposed outcome. As long it doesn’t kill us, we safe right? We can always go back and play victim and hell now we have evidence to support the role.
Nothing and no person stops what is destined to happen. (might delay us a bit though). We are the only force that stops ourself from moving into alignment, awareness, acceptance and acknowledgement of who we are purposed to be.
So let’s spend the last few months of this year, getting more acquainted with vulnerability and say farewell to the victim, Shall we? you scared?
